I like howyou did the background in shadeing it from color to color and i adore the buildings. Beegee sure is relaxed for floating away so high.. but she is drawn very well & i adore the idea of having her tied to a baloon.. sooo cute!!111

You say that you can't draw animals but you CAN. Very well actually.
Your friend's cat looks SO MUCH like my cat, Hazel, that I had when I was little( Who we had to give away), and I can't help but think about that when I look at the picture. I really love this.
It's a beautiful composition, the background is so well coloured and I LOVE the way that the buildings melt into the sky, it gives it this...look, I don't know how to describe it but I love it.
And teh shading on the ballon is so impressive! And the cat looks so cute! And I liek how the lines on the cat and balloon are sharper, as are the colours, it really makes them stand out against the background.
