Glamfur is a term for works of art characterized by glamorous pin-up style art featuring fantasy and animal characters, often in varying fashion styles. The appeal of this style of art is the artist's ability to define a character beyond the boundaries of human features, often in order to accent aspects of a character's personality, or other times simply to model clothing and design concepts.
This style can span over many different mediums from photos of animals, people in body paint or costume, photo manipulations, paintings, to 3d models or writing. A playful use of color, composition and a bold experimental use of media are often other bonuses of these works.
